Our Program

Upon successful completion of the EMT Basic program, graduates will be eligible to take examinations for certification as:

  • New York State - EMT-Basic
  • National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians
  • American Heart Association CPR for Healthcare Providers

Upon successful completion of Paramedic program, graduates will be eligible to take examinations for certification as:

  • New York State - EMT-Paramedic
  • National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians - Paramedic
  • New York City REMSCO Paramedic Protocols
  • American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
  • American Heart Association Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)

The Minimum Expectations goal statement for the Paramedic program is to prepare entry-level paramedics in the cognitive (knowledge), psychomotor (skills), and affective (behavior) learning domains with or without exit points at the Advanced Emergency Medical Technician and/or Emergency Medical Technician, and/or Emergency Medical Responder levels.
