Madison earned her Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from Stony Brook University in 2018 and has been a member of the National Athletic Training Association for seven years, gaining experience with secondary school, collegiate and professional athletic programs.  Madison earned a master’s degree in Sports Administration in 2021 before beginning her path to becoming a professor.  Leading up to her return to Stony Brook in 2023 she served as the head athletic trainer for a Long Island high school and the Supervisor of Athletic Training for Orlin & Cohen Sports Medicine where she developed clinical and mentorship skills. Prior to joining the Athletic Training Program in 2025 she was working in the Undergraduate Health Science program using her knowledge and skills in sports medicine to develop and grow the exercise science concentration.  Now serving as the Clinical Education Coordinator for the ATP she brings a passion and dedication to ensuring every athletic training student gets a well rounded clinical education that will set them up for success in their careers.
