Robert Bouchey joined Stony Brook University in March 2026 and currently serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Health Science major. In this role, he primarily teaches courses in the Exercise Science track. Prior to joining the School of Health Professions, Bouchey served as Director of Performance at a private training facility and as a strength and conditioning coach at Long Island University. At LIU, he was a part of the support staff of NEC championship and NCAA tournament teams in men’s soccer, men’s golf, and baseball. Bouchey earned a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from Keene State College in 2013 and a Master of Science in Strength and Conditioning from Springfield College in 2018. During his graduate studies, he completed internships with the sports performance staffs at the University of Connecticut and Duke University.
