In addition to meeting the requirements for graduation set by the School of Health Professions and Stony Brook University, students must be in good academic standing (GPA of 3.0) throughout their three years in the program. Students must also be in good academic standing the semester prior to fieldwork (a GPA of 3.0) during ALL graduate level coursework, as is required for FW II courses. All students must successfully pass all coursework as well as all FW courses in order to graduate from the program. Successful completion of Level II fieldwork translates as entry level competence, along with completion of all other academic and research requirements; all of this is necessary to sit for the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy [NBCOT] exam. All fieldwork MUST be completed within 12 months of coursework.
