Program Tracks

The Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) program offers flexible tracks that prepare students for clinical, school-based, and bilingual practice. All tracks lead to eligibility for the ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and New York State licensure.

Students may pursue additional credentials aligned with their career goals, including the Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities (TSSLD) certification for work in New York State schools and the Bilingual Extension, which prepares graduates to serve linguistically diverse populations. The Bilingual Extension requires additional coursework and is available to students enrolled in the master’s program.
