Biography
Kelly A. Guerra is a Stony Brook University alumnus with 5 years of Environmental Health and Safety experience, and exceptional interpersonal management skills. She has extensive experience in the medical and athletic field, with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and effectively while meeting aggressive deadlines. Kelly is currently an EHS Specialist for the North America Commercial Markets for Estee Lauder Companies, Inc. Prior to this role, the Health Science program assisted Kelly with her first EHS internship at Weill Cornell Medicine. This provided her with the resources and education to land her first full-time EHS position as an EHS Technician a few months after graduation. During her 4 years there, Kelly was promoted to a Safety Advisor for Weill Cornell’s NYC main campus, and further promoted as their Biological Safety Advisor for both their NYC main campus and Westchester location (Burke Rehabilitation Institute).
Aside from her EHS background, Kelly has a strong passion for mentorship and providing her leadership skills where applicable. As someone who is constantly growing and learning in the EHS field, Kelly would love to be a mentor to someone with an interest in the field as well.
