Biography
Sean Getty, OTD, OTR/L, is a clinical associate professor and interim chairperson of the Stony Brook Occupational Therapy Program. His background is in mental health recovery, where he has implemented multiple programs for individuals with severe mental illness. He is the founder of OT2MentorMe.com, a website that connects mentors and proteges in occupational therapy. He is the board president of the Connetquot Foundation for the Advancement of Children and board secretary of the Connetquot Cares Community Coalition, both of which are non-profit organizations. He has presented at local, national, and international conferences.
