Biography
Kathryn Koshansky has been with the University since 1983. She is a tenured Associate Professor and has received the President's and Chancellor's Awards for Excellence in Teaching. Most of her experience has been on the clinical and teaching side of athletic training. For 28 years she had served as Head Athletic Trainer then Assistant Director of Athletics for Sports Medicine while also the Athletic Training Program Director. Effective July 2011, her position changed to Chair of the Athletic Training Program through the School of Health Professions. She has volunteered as Head Athletic Trainer for the Empire State Games, athletic trainer for the USA Olympic Medical Staff for the Pan American Games and many other events including the TCS/NYC Marathon.
