Biography


Russell Rozensky has been a respiratory therapist for over 20 years with expertise in sleep diagnostics and therapeutics. He has expanded his clinical experience as he has opened, or assisted in opening, sleep centers (all have been accredited by AASM) in the New York area.  Russell continue to work as a consultant for various centers and laboratories, and offers consulting services to assist with all aspects of sleep center operations. He has had his RPSGT since 2000, and the SDS credential from the NBRC since 2010. Over the years, Russell has been asked to be an item writer for the SDS exam and acted as an expert witness for legal cases involving sleep technologists and centers. He has made numerous presentations at the national, state, and local professional society meetings, high schools, Rotary clubs, public libraries, and staff at various sleep centers. Russell is currently on the NY State Licensing Board for Respiratory Therapy and Polysomnography.
