Faculty Spotlight for Professor Sharon Verity, MPAS, PA-C

On behalf of the Stony Brook University Physician Assistant Program, we would like to highlight Professor Sharon Verity, MPAS, PA-C, for an upcoming Faculty Spotlight.
Professor Verity joined our program in the Summer 2024 Semester, and in just eight months, she has gone above and beyond in her roles as a faculty member, educator, and advisor. Her dedication to our success in this rigorous and demanding program has made a meaningful impact on our cohort.
From the beginning, Professor Verity always made herself available to offer assistance and guidance, whether we were facing academic challenges or issues related to our overall well-being. She consistently delivers engaging, informative lectures that draw upon her experience as a practicing emergency medicine PA, which not only keeps us engaged but helps us better understand how our classroom learning will apply to our clinical practice.
Professor Verity’s ability to teach with clarity, motivation, and enthusiasm always leaves our class inspired and excited to learn more. Her kindness, support, and exceptional knowledge have made her an invaluable part of our PA education, and we are truly grateful to have her as a part of our faculty.
