Nov 15 2025: the Stony Brook Research Connect portal is now live. This is your public research profile by the university. Please review your profile and update. To make updates, log in to the administrative interface at https://stonybrook.elsevierpure.com/admin using your NetID and password. Documentation and FAQs are available on the Stony Brook Research Connect website to help you get started and will continually be updated.

July 1 2025: Associate your ORCID identification with your Stony Brook ID. This will help with a new Research Information Management System (RIMS), to help affiliate your publications and related content with your Stony Brook identifier. 

March 2025: Updates to PI policy. New institutional wide update to principal investigator eligability criteria. 

February 20 2025: New Survey Instrument - The Whole Person Health Index: An Integrated Self-Reported Measure Capturing Essential Components of Health; this tool will be introduced into the National Health Interview Survey (NHIS) longitudinal dataset beginning 2025

December 15, 2024: Changes to the NIH Federal Biosketch Format 
As of May 25, 2025, all Biosketches & Current and Pending Support forms must be created using SciENcv. As of October 23, 2023, all biographical sketches for NSF grants need to be generated through the SciENcv application.
